Cassie stood in front of the wall-length mirror that had been thoughtfully provided. She turned a half-turn, then a complete circle, before speaking.
"You can come in now."
Kate Bishop slid in quietly from where she had been waiting outside.
"Well? What do you think?" she asked.
"I...I'm not quite sure what to say."
"It's okay. You don't have to say anything."
"I do like the collar, though."
Kate grinned. "Better for ventilation, more stylish, and yet still modest enough for Scott Lang's little girl."
Cassie laughed quickly before growing serious again. "But really, Kate, it's fabulous. I love that you based it on my dad's suit, but what I'm really amazed by is that you've managed to make it seem so completely...well, me and mine."
"That's as it should be," Kate replied, putting an arm on Cassie's shoulder and regarding her in the mirror. "You are you, but it's plain to see that Scott's been a strong influence..."
Cassie snorted. "Some would question the worth of that."
"...so I kept basics like the red and black, and kept the motif the same, but otherwise reworked the design. It's now a costume unique and personal to one person only." She jabbed at Cassie's reflection. "And not only does she look great in it, but I'll bet anything she'll be great in it too."
She turned Cassie around to face her before continuing. "You take the best of your dad, add it to all of what you are, and voilĂ ! Behold the newest, most awesome size-changing...whoa!...Avenger."
Kate returned Cassie's sudden bearhug gently. "A Young Avenger."
As they parted and turned towards the mirror again, Kate asked Cassie if she had given any more thought to what she was going to call herself.
"A bit, but I'm not sure I have an answer yet," was the answer. "I guess it'll take me a while to grow into this identity, ha. Though I'll probably need a mask or something..."
"Aren't you going to ask Dr. Pym for the Ant-Man helmet? If he doesn't want it right now, it probably ought to be yours more than anyone else's."
"No, I don't think I will - not yet anway." Cassie paused, reflective. "Besides, that was Uncle Hank's invention and it was a critical part of his identity. My dad was able to modify it enough, with his skill, to make it special to him. No, I think I'd rather wait - " here she paused again, this time to smile at her friend - "and find something that adds my own touch to the costume."
"I was hoping you'd say that," replied Kate. She opened her purse and tossed the slim black item she drew from it to Cassie. "Here. How's this for the moment?"
Cassie caught it, held it up to her face, and grinned. "That's it, that's just the right touch." She lowered the domino mask before turning back to Kate. "You really do think of everything, don't you?"
Kate grinned back. "Not really. You were the first one to crack a pun about your powers today. In fact, I think that particular one may actually be a Young Avengers first..."
Cassie groaned. "You caught that?"
Kate nodded, then broke into laughter at Cassie's mock-horrified expression - which dissolved, after a few seconds, into a delighted laughter that echoed hers.
"Come on," Cassie said finally, about a minute later, as she wiped the corner of an eye with one gloved hand and offered the other hand to Kate. "Let's go see what the others look like. I can't wait to see what you've done with Eli!"

Note #2: Here, from the Marvel Wikia, are the images of Cassie's two outfits (and one of Scott's) that I used as references:
Scott Lang in his own Ant-Man costume
Cassie in Scott's Ant-Man suit
Cassie, as Stature, in her new costume
